2018 Giants Draft-Rounds 2 & 3

Written by: Glenn Warciski & Alexander George

Giants GM Dave Gettleman selected three quality players in the second and third rounds.   Will Hernandez, Lorenzo Carter, and BJ Hill.

Will Hernandez, an outstanding pick, will anchor this Giants offensive line.  Right now, Hernandez is the best player on the offensive line.  He will infuse much-needed toughness as well as open holes for Giants running backs.  Do not be surprised if the Giants have him play right tackle.  With Trainwreck Flowers AWOL,  the Giants do not have quality at the right tackle position.  Trainwreck is not quality, but the Giants do not have depth at right tackle.

Like in the first round, Gettleman chose a player who was graded the highest.   Gettleman’s first Hog Mollie is a beast.  Fantastic pick.

Glenn-why didn’t they draft an RT instead of a second DT?
